Manufacturing Engineering Manager Needed in Camarillo - On-site only

Industry: Aerospace Manufacturing

Pay Rate: up to $140K DOE

Growing aerospace manufacturer seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of 4-5 engineers and drive operational excellence across manufacturing operations. We are seeking a management level candidate with growth aspirations!

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader with a strong technical foundation, proven people leadership experience, and the ambition to advance into broader operations leadership roles. The position is expected to serve as a key development path toward future opportunities such as Production Manager or Business Unit Manager.

Key Responsibilities

? Lead and prioritize Manufacturing Engineering activities and resources

? Drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

? Support new product introductions and manufacturing transitions

? Develop and report KPIs including First Pass Yield, Scrap, MTBF, and Productivity

? Provide technical support and troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor

? Create and maintain routers, work instructions, and manufacturing process documentation

? Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using FMEA, A3, Fishbone, and RCCA methodologies

? Coach, mentor, and develop engineering team members

Qualifications

? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering

? 8+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience

? 2+ years of people management experience

? Strong GD&T and SolidWorks expertise

? Experience with ERP/MRP systems

? Ability to read manufacturing drawings, electrical schematics, and process procedures

? Familiarity with AS9100, ISO standards, ITAR, and DFAR requirements

? Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills
